The Crew Resource Management course for UAS operations is in accordance with ENAC LG 005 2023.

The course aims to provide the operator/pilot with the necessary skills to manage and understand the structure of flight team management methodologies.

The course covers the following topics:

• Human communication model and communication hazards;
• Communication styles;
• Situational awareness;
• The focus;
• The perception;
• Memory systems and working memory;
• Human performance: limits and reliability;
• Building an effective team;
• Errors, breaches and threats;
• How to deal with the error;
• Problem solving;
• Decision making;
• Stress: psycho-physiological mechanisms and sources of stress;
• Workload and stress management.

ExaDrone Academy provides the course both in-person and online in synchronous mode.  The course is mandatory for upgrading and obtaining Specific STS and above.  At the end of the course, a certificate will be issued by ENEA - National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development.
