The course aims to provide the operator/ pilot with the knowledge necessary to manage and understand the structure of aviation regulations, both for the part of EU Regulation 947/219 and those related to the Italian system for the mix in STS 02.

Theoretical training shall be based on regulatory concepts as indicated by ENAC, EASA and the regulations and procedures in force regarding the use of UAS:

• Reg. EU 947/2019;
• Open Specific, PDRA and SORA scenarios;
• Conscious use of the D-Flight web portal compared to AIP Italy;
• NOTAM and Airspace Reserves;
• ENAC Circulars ATM-03C - ATM-09A - ATM-05B;
• STS and PDRA scenarios;
• Operational Requests - Operational Authorization - SORA concepts;
• Planning software.

ExaDrone Academy provides the online course in synchronous mode.  The course is not compulsory, but strongly recommended with the aim of passing the Specific STS exam.  At the end of the course, a certificate will be issued by ENEA - National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development.
