SKILLS AUTOMATION AND CONTROL LABORATORY

Industrial automation design and embedded PLC machine controls.
Projects include servo motors and sensors, ultra-miniature GPS tracking systems, radio frequency and IoT applications, drones for special applications.
These skills were preparatory to the EXADRONE project www.exadrone.it in partnership with ENEA Brasimone Research Center funded by the Emilia Romagna Region (DGR N.545 of 04/08/2019).
In the new Automation and Control Laboratory and with the REENEA ENAC.UAS-RE.085, mechatronic and aerodynamic design with CFD simulation, drones equipped with advanced sensors for monitoring concrete structures and/or nuclear sites are designed and built. The research and consultancy activity in embedded electronic design is based on functional models of predictive simulation, the development and industrialization of products, firmware and software applications, support for certification for product marketing.
